Admiral William Fallon: how long before he’s fired?

I like this guy.

According to Asia Times:

[Neocon]… calls for action became so intense that the commander of the US Central Command and Petraeus’s superior, Admiral William Fallon, who has been trying to get authorization to negotiate an “incidents at sea” agreement with Iran, complained publicly that “this constant drumbeat of conflict is … not helpful and not useful. It is not a good idea to be in a state of war. We ought to try to do our utmost to create different conditions,” he told Al-Jazeera.

This is also the guy who called Gen. David Petraeus “an ass-kisser.”

  1. I guess that the recognized and well known US Admiral William J. Falon , is a victim to what the strategic and military thinkers call it “ The Joint warfare Concept’ , in the modern warfare against terrorism .

Army and Marine Corps Field commanders , may do not accept or understand , or even appreciate ,the leadership and commanding style of a Navy officer within their organization , in spite of that ,he really was a navy fighter pilot, had shown his skills in Vietnam war .He is the first Navy Officer who commanded an army and Marine field fighting formations, through the concept of the joint warfare .

The difficulties and losses of the US soldiers on the ground , in both Iraq and Afghanistan joint warfare operations , might have accelerated his resignation .
