Turkey is Bush’s North Korea: attacks into Iraq

If I were a cynic, I’d suggest that US president George W. Bush okayed this, for his own purposes.

Several thousand Turkish troops crossed into northern Iraq early Wednesday to chase Kurdish guerrillas who operate from bases there, Turkish security officials told The Associated Press.

Why, you ask would a cynic think that Bush is a party to this “incursion?”… well, Bush reportedly said he was going to “fix Iraq” in such a way that his successor couldn’t withdraw. And this is one way to do it. Just last week, Tony Snow floats the Iraq=South Korea balloon...are we paying attention, people? This is how Bush converts Iraq into some a little closer to the South Korean situation, where the neighbor to the north invaded, and later was constantly threatening invasion. That would justify a fifty-year occupation.

Wouldn’t be the first time the US betrayed the Kurds, now would it, Don Rumsfeld? nor the first time the US supported both Iraq and its enemy in a regional conflict…..

Bush and Cheney should be impeached. They will stop at nothing. And they will not stop “not stopping,” until they are removed from office.
